What is Remarketing?

Ylopo's Facebook Remarketing is an integral part of your comprehensive marketing strategy with us. Instead of generating a new lead, it's a very effective and cost-efficient way to re-engage leads and people who have clicked on our ads but never registered. We can remarket to leads that are Ylopo-generated, from an old database, another lead source, or even your sphere of influence!

How does Ylopo’s remarketing work?

A remarketing ad will show the lead a dynamic feed of listings that will appear in their Facebook feed, usually a few times a month. The homes shown will change based on what's currently available in your market, if the lead has seen the homes before, and any prior search activity on your home search site. When the lead clicks on a remarketing ad, they are directed to your home search site. If a lead has not previously registered on your site, we'll ask them a series of registration questions when they arrive.

How will I find these leads in my CRM?

You'll receive a Priority Lead notification when a lead returns from Remarketing, in addition to any Priority Lead notification triggered by the search activity itself.

 Remarketing FAQ

  • We offer a few different types of remarketing ads for different audiences and purposes:

    General Remarketing - This type encourages leads from any source to visit or revisit your home search site

    Property-specific Remarketing - We can create a remarketing ad to show a specific home to a group of your leads. To request this campaign, please email marketing@ylopo.com.

    Video or other Branding Remarketing - Instead of our dynamic feed of homes, we can feature a video or other branded content for this type of remarketing. However, we find that listing-based remarketing usually performs better when re-engaging leads. To request a campaign like this, please email marketing@ylopo.com.

    Facebook Page Remarketing - If you allow us admin access to a Facebook page you own, we can remarket to anyone who has liked this page, although we only recommend this if the page is well-liked. To request this campaign, please email marketing@ylopo.com.

  • Our rule of thumb when setting a remarketing budget is that $100 per month will remarket effectively to 1,000 leads in your Ylopo database. 

    In addition, you can spend up to your license maximum on remarketing and new leads or acquisition marketing simultaneously. For example, a level 1 license holder can spend up to $600 on acquisition marketing, and up to $1,200 on remarketing.

  • Depending on the lead's source, you have several options.

    Ongoing lead flow? - Auto-Import

    Large database of leads? - Mass Import

    Manually gathered leads (open house etc.?) - Manual lead import

    All users imported into Stars are eligible for remarketing.

  • Please send a CSV file of the leads you wish to remove from your remarketing campaigns to marketing@ylopo.com.

  • You can find your remarkting ad performance in Mission Control under the marketing tab, on your monthly marketing report, or you can email marketing@ylopo.com for a detailed report.

  • For privacy reasons, Facebook does not share who is being remarketed to, but can advise how many people are being remarketed to the nearest 500 or 1000 number. Please email marketing@ylopo.com for this estimate.

    You may also request a detailed report from marketing to see which users have engaged with your marketing ads. Please email marketing@ylopo.com for this report.
